The asphalted roads between Kunduz and Kabul, and Kunduz and Mazar-e-Sharif provide good access to the main Markets (Zone B). Takhar is well positioned between the main trade centres in the north and central Afghanistan and provides services to neighbouring Badakhshan Province.
